KaeLyn Morrill passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021, in Denver, Colorado following a series of complications from brain surgery on April 5, 2021. She was born in Logan, Utah, on October 18, 1961, to Stanley G. and Gwena McKee Morrill. She was the oldest of 12 siblings—one birth sister and 10 adopted brothers and sisters. She was just nine years older than her youngest sibling. She has lived in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Ontario Canada, South Dakota, and Colorado.

KaeLyn is remembered by many for her brilliant mind and her kind heart. She was always willing to help others. She loved to read and study. Even in her preteens, she was designated the official tutor for some of her younger siblings. She graduated with honors from Steven’s High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. After achieving a perfect 36 on her ACT test, she went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Brigham Young University in three years. She continued to tutor others throughout her high school and college years. She worked in the computer engineering industry for many years. She also studied nutrition and chemistry and created an online health program and a blog for those seeking better health through nutrition. She created a cook book for healthy eating and was in the process of creating another cook book and another website. She has also written a couple of other books.

KaeLyn enjoyed music and loved to play her baby grand piano. One thing she is remembered for is her small, private piano recitals.

KaeLyn had a lot of medical challenges in her life. There were times when life was a struggle. She worked diligently to meet those challenges head on and handle them in the best way she could.
