Jordan Edwards
Ivins, Utah
Jordan Russell Edwards, 37, passed away January 18, 2021 in St. George, Utah. He was born June 23, 1983 in Gunnison to Russell Edwards and Peri Winsor Edwards. Jordan graduated from Wayne County High School in 2001 where he was on the wrestling team and pitcher for the baseball team.
Jordan married Rachelle Brooks in 2004 and they had three children: Haigen, Ellie Jordan, and Paizlee; later divorced. He married Holly Steele on March 16, 2017, and became the father to her son, Hudson.
Jordan was bigger than life. He had a wonderful husky laugh that made everyone laugh too. He always had a smile on his face. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed riding horses, roping, trapping, hunting, farming, herding cows and fishing. He loved being on the mountain hunting sheds, water skiing at Lake Powell, golfing and playing baseball.
Jordan loved performing freestyle on his 2-stroke motorcycle. He performed in various states and also at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City at the Mountain Dew Ice Village. He loved spending time with his friends, growing his beard out and laughing. His favorite baseball team was the Boston Red Sox and he wore that baseball cap with pride.
Jordan never felt complete without his family. His greatest love was being a father. It didn’t matter what Jordan was doing, he always wanted his kids with him. They were his pride and joy, his greatest accomplishment. Jordan enjoyed watching his children grow and teaching them new things.
Jordan worked outdoors as well. He did structural concrete and worked on one of the largest ski trams in the US at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and various bridges across the western United States.
Jordan is now enjoying his time in heaven with friends and family who met him there with hugs and laughter.
Jordan is survived by his children; wife; mother and father; other family: Russty and Heather, Heston and Haydon, Dallas and Casey, Rhett, Drayden and Neiko, Landon and Alyssa, Deegan, Harper and Brody.
