June Ellis
Monroe, Utah
We are celebrating Mom's life—a life well lived. Bring your memories with you and come celebrate her life with us. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for us.
Thelma June Blystone Ellis, 83, passed away December 10, 2019 at her home in Monroe. She was born April 18, 1936 in Meadeville, PA to Louis David Sr. and Margaret Lucille Cummings Blystone. She married Edward Lawrence Ellis December 15, 1955 in Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death June 20, 2014.
Mom formed the Butterfly Ladies Card Group about 25 years ago. Every Thursday the card ladies would go somewhere to eat and either play Skip Bo there or go to Stonehenge to play. This would be one of the highlights of her week.
Mom had a sense of humor like no one else and was a prankster to. She was so patient with us kids, even when we didn't deserve it, because we were not the nicest most of the time. Believe it or not raising 7 kids she never had a headache in her life. We could con her into helping our friends, and then she’d giggle about it when she found out.
June is survived by her children: Debbie Ellis, and Tammy Ellis, both of Monroe; Terri (John) Kelly, MT; Sandy (Brian) Hoots, IL; Cindy (Danny) Dupont, GA; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Louis David (Mary Ann) Blystone, Jr., Mary (John) Blystone, and Judy Blystone, all of PA. She is also preceded in death by her parents; children: Eddie Ellis and Rusti Ellis; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
