Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Bonnie Mae Hansen Gubeli, 78, of Centerfield, passed away in her sleep on Monday, April 15, 2013, in Gunnison, after a long battle with declining health. Bonnie was born on October 5, 1934 in Centerfield, the third child of Mariel and Etta Fjeldsted Hansen. She married Eugene Giles Gubeli in January 10, 1958 in Centerfield. The marriage was solemnized in the Laie, Hawaii Temple, October 10, 1963.

Bonnie graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in 1952, LDS Business College, and later cosmetology school.

Bonnie enjoyed the little things in life such as riding horses, country music, spring flowers and her family. She was a member of the DUP. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her so much joy especially around Christmas – her favorite holiday. She will be loved and missed very much.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Eugene; her children: Blake (Susan) Gubeli, Centerfield; Brenda (Greg) Hendrix, Jasper, Georgia; Todd (Robin) Gubeli, Gunnison; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five brothers and four sisters.

Preceded in death by parents; sister, Ilene Hansen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerfield 1 st Ward Chapel, 210 South Main. Friends may call at the ward chapel Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Centerfield Cemetery.
