Arno F. Jensen
Centerfield, Utah
Arno F. Jensen, 83, our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Richfield. Arno was born April 30, 1936 in Centerfield to Lawrence James and Clora Naomi Fjeldsted Jensen. He married RaNee Peterson, January 31, 1959 in the Manti Utah Temple and have shared 61 years together.
He was a dairy farmer his whole life. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t repair or fix. He was his own GPS, knowing where all of his tools and equipment were stored.
He was always positive in his outlook on life and with whatever he had to deal with. He never complained about how he was feeling and always said that because of his family, he was the richest man in the valley. He always supported his family in all of their activities from staying at the family cabin, fishing trips to ball games, weddings, baby blessings. One of the special events he looked forward to was the annual extended weekend outings with his sons and grandsons. His legacy of hard work and play has been passed down to children and grandchildren.
Arno was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many different callings. He had many opportunities of sharing his testimony not only with his family, but with others as well, strengthening others by his example.
He is survived by his sweet wife, RaNee; children: Kerri (Craig) Payne, Wendy (Jim) Reynolds, Stewart (Lori) Jensen, Greg (Candace) Jensen, Morgan (Sharee) Jensen, Rohn (Monica) Jensen, Candice (Tom) Sorensen, Derk (Toni) Jensen, Suzette (Brady) Mickelson; 32 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; siblings: Eulyn (Carole) Jensen, Vena (Clifford) Childs, Kent Jensen.
Preceded in death by his parents; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karen Jensen
