Bill Kropf

Annabella, Utah

William Graham Kropf, 85, peacefully passed away at home on April 18, 2018 after a long and active life. He was born to William Floyd and Anona Kropf on June 20, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, one of eight children. He married Joyce Lunnette Manning on March 25, 1951 and together they had three children. Later divorced. Bill married Carol Ann Roberts in 1975 and became a loving stepfather to her five children. Soon after they moved to Annabella, Utah where he has since resided.

Bill worked many years in the heating and air conditioning business, eventually opening his own business Kropf Heating, and was a well-respected business owner. During his early adult years Bill was very active in stock car racing and traveled with a local circuit. Bill loved the outdoors and all things Western. As a younger man he was an avid hunter and fisherman, later became a horseman and enjoyed river rafting and in recent years became a dedicated ATVer. Bill loved playing guitar, learning new things, and camping with his family.

He had a quick wit and wry sense of humor. He enjoyed reading his monthly Smithsonian and watching National Geographic and exploring museums and historical sites.

Bill was once asked if he regretted starting a family at such an early age and needing to work so hard to support them and he replied "no! it was fun". Bill was known as a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and a loyal and devoted friend. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his children: Linda Yeates, Vicki (Wayne) Harding and William Owen Kropf; his stepchildren: Sabrina Webster, Brenda (Ronald) Sorenson, Allison Gledhill, Lon Huffman; and 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ronald Kropf, Juanita Lopez, Sharon White and Robert Kropf.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann; son-in-law, Craig Posselli; stepson, Michael Huffman; and grandsons: Tyler Dangerfield and Benjamin Christensen; brother, Kenneth Kropf; sisters: June Kridner and Joyce Bailey.
