William V. "Billy Von" Anderson, 66, passed away September 21, 2013 at his home in Annabella from complications of cancer.
He was born March 7, 1947 in Richfield to Von A and Wyoma Christena Bagley Anderson. He married Judy Valerie Prisbrey, they later divorced. He married Marilyn Nielsen, April 28, 1976 in Manti. The marriage was solemnized May 12, 1977 in the Manti Temple.
Bill was an avid hunter and a master fisherman, who created his own flies and lures. He had many hobbies including jewelry making and gardening. He worked in construction most of his life. He was a teamster driver for over 20 years, worked at Kennecott in Ely, and worked with his boys many years in construction and concrete.
He was a great husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. He loved his dog, Moqui.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Annabella; mother, Wyoma Anderson of Glenwood; sons, Brett (Sandra) Hinsley of Portland, Oregon, Del Von (Brenda) Anderson of Monroe, Darrin (Kristi) Anderson of Glenwood; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte (Tom) Knaphus of Glenwood. He is preceded in death by his father, Von A Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella 2 nd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 and at the ward chapel in Annabella on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery
