Wesley Lynn Jackson passed away in Panguitch, UT on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Wes was born March 12, 1948 in Ogden, UT. He lived many places over the years, but he made his home in Salt Lake City, UT.

Wes married Julie in 1986 and loved her dearly until the very end.

Wes was the jack of all trades, but the master of many, too! He had a brilliant mind and there was nothing he couldn’t design, build or fix. He spent a lot of time tinkering with this or that making things better, only to realize he could build it with his own hands and make it the best!

Wes had many, many hobbies and somehow ended up being good at all of them. A wonderful trait he passed on to his children. He was an incredible artist and spent hours drawing beautiful pictures that he would then pass on to others. He had a special love for woodworking and taught his daughter to use several tools with which she went on to create many creative pieces and do home improvements.

He loved music with a fierce passion, and he could play just about any instrument he picked up. His favorite was the guitar, and his favorite guitar was the one he built himself!

Perhaps of all his hobbies the one he loved most was racing. In his younger years, he spent hundreds of hours at the track. Wes spent time trying out many different types of racing, but mostly raced stock cars. When his boys were older, they started Kart racing and Wes was there to teach them the ropes.

In his later years he spent his time working around his property in Panguitch. His son would go and help him out where they would have long conversations about new ideas and new things to try.

Wes loved his family immensely and showed it in the little things he did; teaching them new things, building with them, showing interest in the things they tried and always rooting for them. He never asked for anything in return. He lived a quiet life and was happy with that!

Wes is survived by his wife Julie, his children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We will miss you Dad and we will always wish for one more day!
