Wendy Ladene Campbell Brox, 66, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away after battling cancer on June 22, 2024, in her home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was born on March 14, 1958, to Dick Weldon and Audrey Ladene Lybbert Campbell in Carbondale, Illinois. Along with her family, she moved to several different states and lived in many different homes throughout her youth. Wendy called the state of Washington her home and attended Walla Walla High School, graduating in 1976. She continued her studies at Ricks College (now BYU Idaho) the year after high school graduation. In her formidable years Wendy loved to play volleyball, participate in band and youth choir, and was involved in student government. Her favorite past time was being on the ballroom dance team. She was an amazing seamstress and shared her musical talents with others throughout her life.

In 1977 Wendy met her future husband, Blaine Donnell Brox, after being introduced by his sister Tammy. They were married on February 24, 1978, in the MantiTemple. Wendy and Donnell went on to have seven children.

Wendy enjoyed working alongside Donnell and her sons at the family business, Performance Dental Laboratory. As the lab manager, she managed the company's human relations and finances.

She was known mostly for her love of music, especially setting aside time each week to teach her precious grandchildren how to sing beautiful songs. The whole family looked forward each week to this activity. Wendy loved participating in fun family adventures such as boating, four-wheeling, and motorcycle rides. Through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various leadership positions in every auxiliary. Her sphere of influence was far reaching and the diverse communities of which she was a part were deeply impacted for the better by her nurturing and joyful spirit. She was a dependable and compassionate friend, and the ultimate “mom” to many.

Wendy is survived by her mother, Audrey Ladene Lybbert Campbell; husband Blaine Donnell Brox; children: Kierra Stubbs (Andrew), Travis Brox (Melissa), Chad Brox, Shanna Webster (Daniel), Heather Cameron (Kyle), Tyler Brox (Elizabeth), and Kylan Brox; siblings Dick Campbell, Neal Campbell, Jess Campbell, Darrell Shyface, Debra Talbot, Julie Bortman, and Dennis Campbell; and 17 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Dick Weldon Campbell and grandson, Ryan Travis Brox.
