Warren Sorenson

Aurora, Utah

Warren W. Sorenson, 50, our precious son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend was welcomed into our Heavenly Father’s arms quietly and peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 20, 2013 in Provo.

He was born on September 14, 1962 in Richfield to Kendall and Virginia Branch Sorenson. He graduated from North Sevier High School in 1980. He graduated from Snow College and attended the University of Utah. He received an award for his outstanding performance from the Forest Service which was presented to him in Washington D.C.

He enjoyed driving cross country with his dad. He farmed for Lee Huntsman. He was employed by the Forest Service and BLM and retired after 18 years.

Warren loved life. He had a contagious laugh and was a big tease. He loved the mountains and his two dogs, Zia and Killian. He loved to hunt and go camping with family and friends.

There are many phenomenal people who have cared and helped with Warren throughout his life. We are eternally grateful for all the people who have touched his life or had his life touch theirs.

Warren was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a special relationship with his Savior. Through his trials he continued to faithfully endure to the end. He was truly a valiant warrior. Warren was blessed with the privilege of having the most loving, kind, and selfless parents, whom he loved dearly.

Warren is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters; Beverly (Kent) Larsen, Colleen (Jeff) Hallows, Correen Sorenson, Barry (Cindy) Sorenson, Dana (Nancy) Sorenson, all of Aurora. Warren was not blessed with any children, but he had 77 nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.
