Walter Doraine Roberts, 88, of Annabella, UT passed away on January 26, 2016 in Richfield, UT. Doraine was born on November 22, 1927 in Annabella to Walter Lloyd and Sarah LaVell Anderson Roberts.
Doraine served in the United States Army and was proud to serve his country. He married Gloria Staples on April 6, 1951 in Las Vegas, NV, she preceded him in death on December 6, 1984. Doraine missed his wife dearly and was ready to return and be with her. He loved his family and visiting with all his siblings, kids and grandchildren. Doraine loved his cows, the mountains, hunting and his 4-wheeler.
He is survived by his children, Laird Roberts, Bountiful; Teresa Lee, LaVerkin; Jeff Roberts, Annabella; Eric (Tammy) Roberts, Annabella; Kelly (Leslie) Roberts, Manti; Brenda (Dave) Owen, Price; Bryan Roberts, Salt Lake City. He is also survived by his siblings, Dale Roberts and Cleve (Deanna) Roberts, both of Salt Lake City; Ione Hunt, Annabella; also 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings; Art Roberts, Norma Nebeker and Edna Mae Tanner; granddaughter, Cynthia Owens; and grandson, Kenny Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella 1 st Chapel. Friends may call prior to service at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Annabella Cemetery with military honors by the Utah Honor Guard and V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
