Walter George Kling, 82, of Axtell, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
Walter was born on February 3, 1930 to Martin and Clara Hoffman Kling in Keldron, South Dakota. He grew up working for his father on the family ranch near Keldron. Walter lived a productive life including serving in the Armed Forces, having a career in the sheet metal industry, and farming in Axtell, UT. He enjoyed horses, farming, trains, and reading his Bible. He was a member of the American Legion and the Sheet Metal Union. He made many friends while living in the community and attending church services. Walter was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 31, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Richfield Bible Church in Central Valley. Friends may call prior to services at the church from 10:00-10:45. Interment will be in the Lindquist’s Memorial Park in Layton. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
