Virginia Jane Taylor Griffiths, 87, passed away November 10, 2014 in Richfield, Utah. She was the daughter of Earl Eaves and Virginia Josephine Klasen Taylor and was born August 12, 1927 in Cleveland, OH. She married James Sydney Griffiths on August 14, 1948 in Lakewood, OH. The marriage was solemnized on April 13, 1968 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2008.

Jane was a member of the LDS Church and the DAR, and served as a pink lady at Sevier Valley Medical Center. From 1951-1966 she and her husband, Syd, built and operated the King of the Frosties diner, bakery and fishing tackle shop in Speculator, NY which is still in operation today. From New York, they moved to Prescott, AZ, then to Ontario, OR where they lived previous to coming to Venice, UT in July 1989. Her favorite activities included being with family, reading, knitting and quilting.

Jane is survived by her sons: James Sydney, Jr. (Roberta), and Marc Allyne (Vicki), both of Venice, UT; 11 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betsy Ann Taylor (Robert) Havens, Westlake, OH.

Also preceded in death by parents; great-grandson, Taylor Sage Baldwin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Venice Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the ward chapel in Venice from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Venice Cemetery.
