    Vicki Lynne Gehrig Carter, 66, passed away December 22, 2022 in Glendale.  She was born August 19, 1956 in Seattle, WA to David and Donna Balen Gehrig.  She married Ray Carter on June 17, 1981 in Las Vegas, NV.
    Our beautiful Vicki was a loving, caring and giving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and aunt who loved giving and expected nothing in return. She especially loved giving to the little ones, even at the risk of getting herself in big trouble. Her favorite things to do were fishing and camping with family and friends. She could always out fish her husband. Rest assured — her husband got the cleaning duty. A flower garden was her pride and joy and the envy of many an eye. Her hummingbirds were fed very well. Franki, her cat, was loved and spoiled to no end. Our hearts are broken. 
    You are loved as much as you gave love.
    She is survived by her husband; children:  Stacey Kapella, Boulder City, NV;  Tony (Jodi) Niswonger, Las Vegas, NV; Mike (Rachel) Niswonger, Laurel Hill, FL; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; brothers: David Gehrig, Las Vegas, NV; Mark Gehrig, Costa Rica.
    Preceded in death by her parents.
    Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel where friends are welcome from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Sigurd Cemetery.
