Our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend Vaughn Gordon Ericksen, 48, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 of natural causes at his home in Ephraim. Vaughn was born September 28, 1970 in Nephi to Shrol Ericksen and Patricia Stafford.
Vaughn was raised in Manti, Utah. He graduated from Manti High and later certified as a CNA which he loved and was very proud of, as well as his security position. He was a very caring and compassionate person who loved to help people in need. He was known for his gentleness for the small things. Vaughn was a devoted superhero and star trek enthusiast. He could tell you everything there was to know on both subjects. But most of all he loved his family. He was so proud of his grandkids and enjoyed the precious time he spent with them. Vaughn loved to make people laugh and smile even if he was sad. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Vaughn is survived by: mother Patricia Weiss; children: Cameo, Ashton, Ashley, Loriann and Cody; siblings: Debbie (Carl) Bown, Ephraim; Shrol (Laura) Ericksen, Wales; Vicky (Ken) Butters, Salt Lake; John (Kimberly) Ericksen, Clinton; BJ (Andy) Willden, Ephraim. And many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Shrol Ericksen; dad, Robert Weiss; brothers: Valon Ericksen and Robert Weiss Jr.; sisters: Jongee Ericksen Munk and Valerie Ericksen Fierro; nephew, Cory K Fierro; and niece, Dara Ericksen.
Graveside services and interment will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
