Van Dee Ence
Congress, AZ
Van Dee Ence, 66, passed away on November 21, 2021 in Congress, AZ. He was born July 13, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant, UT to proud parents, Robert “Bob” Deene and Geraldine Crowther Ence. Growing up and going to school in Salina, UT.
Van was the best brother anyone could ask for. He is now in Heaven arguing with Dad about nothing and giving Mom a big hug and kiss. Bob will miss having coffee in the morning with him. He will be missed by all of us.
Van was a carpenter by trade and worked in many different states, his last job was working on the bypass bridge for the Hoover Dam in Nevada. He was very proud of the work he did. He loved to hunt and fish, explore, driving and walking the mountains finding elk and deer horns. He was always up for a discussion about music and said his best concert was Pink Floyd in Las Vegas. He was a people person and could tell you where everyone lived in Salina. And if he was your friend, you could always depend on him.
Survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (David) Robison; siblings: Uvonne (David) Lund, Bobby Deene Ence; and many nieces and nephews, who all love him very much.
Van is preceded in death by his parents.
