Tyson Thursby
Ephraim, Utah
Tyson Kent Thursby, 31, passed away on Monday March 5, 2018 in Provo, Utah. Tyson was born on August 3, 1986 in Mt Pleasant to Michael Oran and Denise Hayes Thursby.
Tyson was raised in Ephraim UT where he graduated from Manti High School. On April 12, 2008 he married the love of his life, Tiffani Thompson and spent many years growing their love. After a long battle with infertility in 2012 he received the light of his life, his children: Kellin and McKaela. Tyson had many passions in life but his favorite was hunting with his dad, wife, children and friends or family. He and his wife spent many days on the mountains.
Tyson worked at both Sufco and Skyline Mines where he made many friends who have turned into his mining brothers. He worked hard and cared for those who worked with him. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help those in need but also had a smart-alec personality. He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh, sometimes you never knew what would come out of his mouth.
Through Tyson’s battle with a TBI (traumatic brain injury) due to a car accident in May 2017, he fought gracefully until his last breath with his wife by his side at all times. He gave others and his wife so much strength. He was blessed with many friends during his trials and they will cherish the time they spent taking care of him. He carried a light with him through all the darkness that surrounded. Knowing he’d return peacefully to his father and child.
Tyson is survived by his wife Tiffani; children Kellin and McKaela Thursby; mother, DeniseThursby; siblings: Brandy (Thursby) Nielsen and Kara (Brandon) Butcher, all of Ephraim. He was proceeded in death by his child; his amazing father Micheal; grandparents, friends and many beloved animals.
