Twila Rae Bredguard Poulson passed away May 23, 2015 in Monroe. She was born April 8, 1927 in Monroe to Remo and Hilda Warenski Bredsguard.

She graduated from South Sevier High School class of 1945. She married LaVoy H Poulson of Richfield on Feb 20, 1945. Later sealed in the Manti Temple. Richfield was their home for most of their married life. He passed away May 25, 1992, On April 6, 2009 she married Gail Stott. He passed away March 4, 2013.

Twila was an accomplished author and published a book about her home town Monroe "Pollywoggs and Penny Candy". She had a talent for writing and reciting poetry. She shared her talent by writing many histories of her family members and friends. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and was always sharing her testimony. She and LaVoy served two LDS missions and after his death she served five mission assignments. She loved to travel and meet people. Her travels took her all over the world.

She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They loved to come to Grandma’s where there was always a card game being played.

She is survived by her daughters: Marlene James, Aurora; Margaret (William) Allred; Rae Lynn (Tom) White; Laurie (Robert) Jenkins, all Richfield; and Rebecca (Francis) Krobath, Las Vegas, NV. Her brother, Chanley Bredsguard, Las Vegas, NV; 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Larry James; and siblings; Nyals, Dale, Faye, Nola and Patt; sister-in-law, Virginia Bredsguard.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2015, at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 3rd Ward Chapel, 985 S 400 W. Friends may call on Sunday, May 31, 2015, from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at Magleby Mortuary and at the ward chapel on Monday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
