Trent Tyson Seely, age 26, passed away on June 5, 2024, in Hayden, Colorado. He was born on April 24, 1998, to Tammy and Tyson Seely in St. George, Utah.
Trent was a graduate of Hayden High School, class of 2016, where he discovered his passion for welding and earned his welding certifications. His passion as a welder was marked by his meticulous attention to detail and determination, making him a highly sought-after worker by every employer he worked with.
In 2019, Trent welcomed his son Kayson James Seely, whom he loved dearly and was a significant part of his life.
Trent's siblings, Amy and Crissy, remember him as a man of many talents and hobbies. He excelled in mechanics and welding, with a special talent for fixing engines. Trent was known for his expertise in Dodge Diesel engines and his ability to fix anything, earning him the reputation of a true genius and MacGyver.
To know Trent was to love Trent. Trent was known to have many friends everywhere he went. Trent lived life on his own terms and never backed down to a challenge.
Trent is survived by his sisters: Amy Link, Palmer, AK; Crissy Williams, Redmond, UT; brothers: Troy Pike and Tyler Pike, both of Grantsville, UT; nephews: Brayden, Dylan and Ethan; honorary mother, Kathy Barnes, Hayden, CO; as well as many other family and friends.
Trent is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Alice Sorensen and Lloyd Ewles.
Funeral services to honor Trent's life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12:00 Noon in the Blackhawk Arena in Salina, UT. Friends and family may attend a viewing there from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Mayfield Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
