Tony Lee Montoya
Manti, Utah
Through tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away. Our hearts are so broken, you fought so hard to stay. But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again.
Our larger than life, son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tony flew to the angels September 9, 2014 at age 52. Born March 19, 1962 in Murray to Alex Joseph Montoya and Janice June Caldwell Cox. He married Leslie Lund on August 15, 1987
Tony had a big heart and huge personality. He was loved by all and a stranger to none. He worked hard and played even harder. He was always the life of the party. Tony loved to be outdoors and spent every moment he could hunting, fishing, cruising the back roads and mountains. Most especially playing in the mud.
Tony’s family and friends were his whole world and they will miss him dearly.
Tony is survived by his wife; children: Lynnzie (Ricky) Williams, Alex (Kiersten Madsen) Montoya; grandson, Liam Williams; parents: Janice (Randall) Cox; Alex (Karla) Montoya; stepmother, Sondra Montoya; 6 sisters and one brother; many nieces, nephews and friends.
