Therron V Shaw
Aurora, Utah
Therron V. Shaw, 82 passed away on April 6, 2018 at his home in Aurora surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 10, 1936 in Aurora to Richard Lynn and Fern Nordfelt Shaw. He married Ada Suzanne Wood, July 5, 1958 in the Manti Utah Temple.
His sweetheart and family of eight children were most precious to him. Family comes to us in many ways, he was a father figure to several children other than his own.
His grandchildren brought him great joy. Not only watching 5 grandsons play on the same football team, but he also supported his other grandchildren in their various activities. These were some of the highlights of his life.
Therron was a devoted member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony in Jesus Christ and served in many callings. He loved being a home teacher and was very dedicated in serving others.
He was known as a hard worker and honest in all of his dealings. In his early life he was proficient in all facets of construction including operating heavy equipment. He was also an electrician wiring numerous LDS churches being built. In 1976 he built a home for his family. For over 30 years, he owned and operated Shaw’s Cleaning Services.
His laugh and sense of humor were contagious. Working became fun whenever Therron was around. He enjoyed horse back riding and hunting with his brothers in his younger years. Water skiing, dancing with his sweetheart, BYU sports, fishing and taking care of his garden were also important in his life.
Therron passed away peacefully with a lot of family and love surrounding him; we can only imagine his large family who welcomed him back to heaven.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, of Aurora; children: Renee Shaw, Salt Lake City; Diane (Kelly) Mason, Wendy (Donald) Gragg, Brian (Necia) Shaw, Jodie (Ryan) Coates, Wesley (Kari) Shaw, all of Aurora; Devin (Kristie) Shaw, St. George; daughter-in-law: Tiara Shaw, St. George; 27 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Wayland (Nannette) Shaw, Aurora; Linda Mickelson, Redmond; Judy (Roger) Myers, Salt Lake; Raelene (Trent) Cowely Wright, WY; sisters-in-law: Joan Shaw Call, Anna Shaw Olsen.
