Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Thelma Coleman Christensen Johnson, 97, passed away March 10, 2017 in Richfield. She was born January 29, 1920 in Teasdale, Utah to Albert and Francis Ellen Mooseman Coleman. She married Howard Christensen, June 30, 1937 in the Manti Temple. He died November 30, 1960.

She married LaVor Johnson, July 22, 1963 in Idaho. He preceded her in death June 24, 1973.

Thelma was such a talented and special lady. She loved to crochet and was an excellent cook. No one who entered her home ever left hungry. She loved her family dearly. She was giving and was always willing to help anyone in need. She will truly be missed more than words can ever say.

She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed working in the Relief Society .

She is survived by her children: Steven (Bonnie) Christensen, Hurricane; LaMohr (Kim) Christensen, Plantation, FL; Sharee (Hartly) Nebeker, Annabella; Nancy (Edward) Li, South Jordan; daughters-in-law: Rhonda Christensen, Julie Barney; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon Coleman, Monroe; sisters-in-law: Norma Coleman and Sarah Coleman.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she is preceded in death by sons: DeLoy Christensen, Jay Christensen, Michael Christensen; siblings: Sarah Jean Jackson, Mildred Tremblay, Iola Roberts, Milton Coleman, ElRoy Coleman, Lloyd Coleman, Otto Coleman, Vonda Coleman; two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, where the immediate family is invited to gather after 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Escalante Cemetery.
