Terry Harvey

Terry Harvey, 58, passed away on January 22, 2018, at his home in Sigurd, surrounded by his family.  He was born October 25, 1959 to George and Julia Harvey in Roosevelt Utah. He grew up in Salina Utah. He married Georgette Warnock on March 10, 1979. Together they raised their family in Sigurd.
After working out of town construction for years, he took a job (allowing him to be home with his family) with Robinson Transport where he completed 25 years with the company. He ran the family farm and created the Sigurd Corn Maze in an effort to create a fun family environment for his community.
Terry loved to camp, fish, shop garage sales, and spend time with his family. He served his church tirelessly with callings in various bishoprics, as a High Councilman, Primary teacher, and bishop of the Sigurd Ward. He especially loved working with the Boy Scouts and the youth. He loved spending time with the Primary children; giving fist bumps, high fives, and sharing the candy from the office. His last calling was as Sunday School teacher for the 14-16 year olds whom he loved dearly. Once you knew Terry, you became family for life.
He is survived by his wife, Georgette; children: Amber (Mike) Olson, Travis (Robbi) Harvey, Cheyenne Harvey, and Chantel (Juan) Ramirez; grandchildren: Zach (Serena), Jayden, Stetson, Wyatt, Antonio, Jaycee, Gavyn, RyLeigh, Noah, Dugan, Mateo, Brydger, Jaylee, Dante; beloved pups: Bella and Sara; mother, Julia; and siblings: Dian, Richie (Denise), and Denise (Wayde). Terry was preceded in death by father, George Harvey; in-laws, Phyllis & Robert Warnock; and his pup Jake.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 29, 2018 in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel.  Viewings: Sunday evening at the Magleby Mortuary from 6 to 8 or on Monday at the ward chapel from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Sigurd Cemetery.
