Ted W. Jolley

Ted Whitehead Jolley, 87, of Richfield, Utah and formerly of Angle passed away July 31, 2016 in Richfield, Utah. He was born August 10, 1928 in Angle, Utah to Masiel Manning and Mary Whitehead Jolley. He married Karma Bradshaw November 26, 1952 in the St. George LDS Temple. She preceded him in death December 26, 2012.

Ted was an active member of the LDS Church where he served in the Central States Mission. He served as Bishop in the Antimony LDS Ward. Ted and Karma were called in the first group of couple missionaries to serve in the Nauvoo Temple. They served as ordinance workers in the St. George LDS Temple for over 20 years. He served as Piute County Commissioner and taught at Piute High School for 29 years in Vocational Agriculture and Special Education. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. Ted was a farmer and rancher in Angle for many years before selling the ranch and moving to Richfield.

He is survived by his children: Scott (Joy) Jolley, Fort Wayne, Indiana; William (Connie) Jolley, Richfield; Audrey (David) Hermansen, Layton; Darren (Jolene) Jolley, Grantsville; Eric (Lisa) Jolley, Eagle Mountain; 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; sisters: Pattie (LaMaun) Sorensen, St. George; Jill Anderson, Ivins; Renee (Phil) Petersen, West Valley; Mona (DeVon) Anderson, Las Vegas; Eva (Ralph) Bassett, Eagle Mountain; Shirley (Ronald) Blake, Ivins; Tamara (Steve) Kimball, Kanosh; sister-in-law, Bernice Jolley, Antimony.

Preceded in death by parents; wife, Karma; son, Beven Jolley; daughter, Andrea Jolley; brothers: George M. Jolley; Ruben Kay (Jean) Jolley; sister, Corrine (Don) Applegate; brothers-in-law: Gary Romine; John Van Ausdal

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery. Funeral directors Magleby Mortuary Richfield, Salina and Manti.
