Ted Beutler

Ted Beutler, 82, passed away January 21, 2014, at his home in Richfield. He was born July 20, 1931 in Richfield to Glen and Grace Peterson Beutler, graduating from Richfield High School in 1950. He married Maureen Madsen, July 25, 1952 in Las Vegas, NV. Later divorced.
Ted served as a Sargent in the Army/National Guard, serving in the Korean War. He operated and did the cooking at the family-owned Little Wonder Café in Richfield for many years, until the business was sold in 1973. He then did road construction for L.A. Young construction, driving truck, hauling heavy equipment from job to job.
Ted loved the outdoors: fishing, hunting, and camping, enjoying many fish and mutton fries with family and friends.
Ted is survived by his daughter, Glenna Vee (Gerry) Mickelsen, Aurora; grandchildren: Chris Mickelsen, Heather (Dion) Granet, Joe Mickelsen, Holly Mickelsen; great-grandchildren: Tayler, McKayla, Gunnar and Harley; sister, Louise Thalman, Vermillion.
Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law, Harold B. Thalman.
