Tanya Lynne Asay Giles, 46, became our guardian angel on December 6, 2016, in Sevier. She left this earth with an abundance of love from friends, and acquaintances. She is now able to share her contagious smile and compassion with her family and friends on the other side.
Tanya’s life has been fulfilled with adventure and happiness. Tanya’s contagious and energetic personality touched everyone who had the privilege to meet her. Tanya is a compassionate spirit, combined with wisdom, strength, courage and integrity. She is strong willed and determined; as some would call her "tough as nails". The quality of life exceeded the quantity of time she was with us. Tanya is a loving, caring, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Tanya enjoys watching football; Steelers are her team, and Nascar is her thing; (Dale Earnhardt Jr.). Tanya absolutely adores the outdoors.
Although for those of us left behind, our days will be dimmer without her contagious smile. Her spirit and example will radiate and surround us with her love. Always willing to Iisten and very accepting, she truly provided so much as she served those around her.
Tanya was born on July 8, 1970 in San Bernandino, California to Stanley and Arva Dawn Manwill Asay. Tanya married Roger Allred May of 1988 and later divorced. She then met the love of her life and soul mate, Elmer Giles. They were married on May 21,2011. They were then sealed for all time and eternity on May 21, 2016 in the Manti Temple.
She is survived by her husband; children: Jessica (Michael) Kroschel, Colton Allred, Skyler (Megan) Allred, Keisha Allen, Asia Giles; grandchildren; Michael, Alexis, Kayden, JennyLee, Colten, Neci, Tristen, Naomi, Arihanna, Kenya; father, Stanley Asay; siblings: Scott (Sona) Asay, Troy Asay, Sheli (Shane) Yergensen, Crista (Duane) Gerety, T.J. (Chandee) Asay.
She is preceded in death by her mother; grandparents: Burton C & Velma Manwill; Joe & Ila Asay; niece, Shaleysa Tielle Asay
Memorial services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Richfield East Stake Center, 800 North 500 East.
