Tammie Gibbs
Elsinore, Utah
Tammie Faralene Clontz Gibbs, 57, passed away April 24, 2018 in Provo, from complications from a lingering illness. She was born February 14, 1961 in Richfield to Camille Long and Charles William “Chuck” Clontz. She married Chris Gibbs, they later divorced but remained great friends. Previous marriages were to Allen Williams and Dave Peterson.
Tammie had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing. She was a great wife, mom, grandma, aunt and friend. She was an awesome cook, who enjoyed taking the time to teach her “kids” how to cook Grandma Camille and Great-grandma Louise’s recipes. She had great integrity and had no problem in letting you know if things were not right, you knew where you stood with her.
She enjoyed gardening, riding atvs, camping and being with her family. These past few years were difficult for her in not being able to get out as much as she would have liked, but we all knew where she wanted to be and what she wanted to be doing.
Tammie is survived by her mother, Camille; former husband, Chris; children: David A. Williams, Tiffany (Shane) Nebeker, Ashley (Jayden) Abraham; 7 grandchildren; half sister, Tina Jensen.
She is preceded in death by her son, Danny “Heavy D” Peterson; father, Chuck; sister, Monique Clontz.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel where friends may call on Monday after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Online guest book.www.maglebymortuary.com
