Susan Annette Shearin Anderson, aka “Red”, 61, of Elsinore, passed away August 20, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 21, 1960 in West Memphis, Arkansas to William S Shearin and Peggy Jeffords Shearin.
She graduated from West Memphis High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.
Susan lived her life to the fullest. She was always filled with laughter and never stopped joking with family and friends. Her kids and grandkids were the love of her life. She was also an avid animal lover and was usually seen with her faithful companion, her dog, Boo.
Susan is survived by her one son, Larry Cook, Jr., Elsinore; and one daughter, Skye Shamburger, Elsinore; sister, Sally (John) Easley, Neosho, MO; brother, Bill (Robyn) Walker, Eads, TN; step-sisters: Sandra Couch, and Jeanne (Bobby) Burns, both of Olive Branch, MS; aunt, Janet Shearin, Cave Springs, AR; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, George Walker; sister, Nancy Martinez; uncles: Jim Shearin; David (Eloise) Jeffords; niece, Keita Shearin.
Cremation services have taken place at the Magleby Mortuary Crematory. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel.
