Sue Marie Whitmore

December 28, 1954 — July 6, 2014

Sue Whitmore
Richfield, Utah

Sue Marie Linn Whitmore, 59, lost her long and valiant battle with various health issues on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Provo, surrounded by her husband and children.
Sue was born December 28, 1954 in Delta, Colorado to Eugene William and Eleanor Ann Oswald Linn. She married Rich Whitmore, April 2, 1978, in Salt Lake City.
Many of her friends were gained through her employment at the local grocery stores: Safeway, Albertsons, Fresh Market, and Lin’s .
Sue’s passions included: cooking for her family and friends, camping, working in her flower garden, and raspberry patch.
She lived her life to the fullest. Basking in the sun for a week at Lake Powell or the weekend at Whitmore Bay at Piute Reservoir were some of her favorite pastimes. Sue always said,  “There’s no better feeling than the sun on your face.”
She is survived by husband, Rich; children: Lindsay Ryan, Anthony (Randi) Whitmore;  grandchildren: Jayni, Jaxson, Kasen, and Logan; and Abby, her dog.
She will be dearly missed especially by her grandbabies. We take comfort knowing that her pain and suffering has ended, and that she has been reunited with her brother, Willie, and parents, and the “girls” who preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Valley 2nd Ward Chapel, 65 North Main, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A celebration of her life will be held at a later time. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
