Steven J Ogden
Joseph, UT
Steve is finally free of his pain and suffering, sometime early February 6, 2013 in Joseph. He passed from this earthly realm to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, parents, bother, sister and other relatives. What a wonderful reunion this was.
Steve was born on March 12, 1942 to Heber J Ogden & Sylvia Merle Shaw and raised in Richfield, Utah. He suffered from asthma early in life, this aliment did not restrict him from keeping up with his friends while growing up.
He attended school in Richfield until his sophomore year when he moved to Granger, Utah and lived with his sister and best friend Diane.
He joined the army in 1961, during his Army career he was stationed in Germany, where he met and married Helga Muller, they were later divorced but remained great friends throughout the years. He was also stationed in Korea, Vietnam and various places in the United States throughout his career. Steve was a mess Sergeant and was always accused of cleaning up after his men. He retired at the rank of E-7 in 1981. After his retirement from the military he worked for the United States Postal Service and various other jobs in Colorado Springs, Co., until he moved back to his favorite place Sevier Valley, Ut.
He is survived by son, Warren J. (Debbie) Ogden, Colorado Springs.Co.; daughter, Beate Bubel, Taneytown, Md.; Ex wife Helga Ogden, Richfield; sisters, Diane Allen, Annabella, Kathy (Ron) Pekuri, St. George; brother, Lane (Carolyn) Ogden, Richfield; grandchild, Brandon Bubel, and great-grandchild, Brayden Bubel and many nieces and nephews.
