Steven Lynn Hall of Ephraim, age 63, peacefully passed away July 10, 2013 in Provo. He has fought many health battles throughout his life. His most recent battle was against a cancerous brain tumor which he couldn’t win, his body finally gave up. He was born September 29, 1949 in Ephraim to Clifford and Pearl Hall. He grew up with two brothers and one sister.
Steve served his country proudly during the Vietnam conflict for which he received an honorable discharge and many medals. After Vietnam due to a lack of jobs in Sanpete County, he re-enlisted and served two more years in Fort Riley, Kansas receiving a second honorable discharge.
Steve married Gloria Sudweeks on September 17, 1977 Las Vegas and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple on their 8 th anniversary. Together they raised four children.
Steve loved being outdoors, tenderly caring for his roses and spending many hours in the mountains fishing with his family, his favorite spot being Snow’s Lake. He was employed for over 22 years with Snow College, and with numerous jobs before that.
Steve is survived by his eternal sweetheart, Gloria, of Ephraim; children: Amy Lyn (Mark) Larsen, Fairview; Curtis Reid, Ephraim; Randi Fay (Mike) Stewart, Ephraim; and Kristalynn Hall, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his sister, Alice (Keven) Howard, Slatterville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday ,July 15, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Ephraim 7 th Ward Chapel, 400 East Center. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Ephraim Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery with military rights by the Manti American Legion Post #31.
