Stanley Munk
Manti, Utah

On February 15th, 2025, our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, Stanley Munk, completed his earthly journey and reunited with his cherished wife, Darlene Shepherd, in his heavenly home. Stan was born in Manti, Utah, on November 13th,1929 to William Peter Munk and Annie Brighamina Simonson. As a child, he assisted his father with daily operations at the Peerless Hatchery in Manti. Though he faced numerous hardships and losses during his childhood, he always maintained his sweet, loving spirit. Stan matured into a smart and kind-hearted man, soon finding his soulmate, Darlene Shepherd. They married on January 27th, 1951. Shortly thereafter, he was called to serve and was stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict. After the conflict ended, he took great pride in being a veteran and consistently supported his fellow service members.

Stan was an incredibly kind and diligent individual who always prioritized the well-being of his family. Though he spoke little, those who knew him understood how deeply he cherished each and every one of them. He had a profound love for animals, enjoyed camping with his family, loved exploring on his ATV, and delighted in watching Westerns. His family, friends, and neighbors are left with many joyful memories of his rich and fulfilling life.

He is survived by his children: Diana Mansfield, Michael Munk, Cindy Levitt, David Munk, and Kevin Munk, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and his brother, William Ferrol Munk.

Stan has joined his wife Darlene, his parents, and his siblings: Vera Jensen, William Munk, Lyda Garlick, Homer Peter Munk, Della Malmgren, Eunice Harvey, and Glen Peter Munk. He was a good and honest man, who truly loved everyone the most!
