Sherry Lewis

Sherry Dickinson Lewis, 81 of Salt Lake City, passed away at her home January 13, 2018.  She was born May 2, 1936 in Panguitch to John Dawson and Ida Mae Norton Dickonson.  She married Merrill E. Lewis, December 24, 1953 in Richfield.  He preceded her in death December 17, 2002.
Sherry and Merrill loved to travel around the country.  They loved family gatherings, camping on Monroe Mountain, down to Otter Creek.  They enjoyed their winters in Parker and Yuma and made many life long friends wherever they went.
She is survived by children: Lane (Cindy) Lewis, Dawnie (Rod) Benard; grandson, Dylan; siblings: Pearl (Phil) Rogers; Bob (Shyanne) Dickinson, Lloyd (Leslie) Dickinson, Rick Dickinson.
She is also preceded in death by son, Sheril; siblings: Gary, Lennis, Almon, Roger, Clifford.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West 10600 South, South Jordan.
An informal gathering of friends and family will take place after 11:00 a.m.  on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, followed with a short service at 12:00 Noon prior to burial in the Richfield City Cemetery.    Online guest book www.maglebymortuary.com
