Sheldon K. Steed, 58, of Escalante, passed away February 22, 2016 at his home in Escalante. He was born February 14, 1958 in Salt Lake City to Paul and Mary Bybee Steed. He married Marlene Ludgate, later divorced. Married Regina Pollock, later divorced.
Survived by his children: Duncan Steed, St. George; Heidi Steed, Escalante; Brandon (Sandra) Steed, Enoch; Travis Steed, Cedar City; Kristy (Ben) Wilcken, Enoch; Andrea (David) Chrawshaw, Cedar City; 16 grandchildren; mother, Mary Steed Shumway, Escalante; Steve (Diana) Steed, Escalante; Scott (Cindi) Steed, Escalante; Sam (Wendy) Steed, Marysvale; Shane (Stephanie) Steed, Escalante; Shannon (Jennifer) Steed, Escalante.
Preceded in death by father; step-fathers: Dr. Ivan Kazan and Daryl Shumway.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Escalante 1st Ward Chapel, 80 South Center, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
