SHELA ANDERSON: A Brief Obit
Background:
• Born: November 16, 1942, Died: January 6, 2022
• Wife to Robin Vincent
• Daughter to DeVon and Enid Reid Anderson
• Sister to DeAnn Anderson Kemp
• She graduated from East High School; Bachelor’s Degree U of U; PhD from California.
Shela was a successful counselor for many years in Utah and California, where she lived most of her adult life.
Shela had a clinical counseling business and a sincere desire to help clients through some of their hardest personal journeys of life. She made a very positive and lasting difference in countless lives.
She was known for her gourmet cooking. She loved to have fun. She had a lovely singing voice.
Shela had a very close relationship with her Aunt Marie Bjerregaard (DeVon’s sister) and they found many opportunities to go on road trips together.
She is survived by her husband and long time and constant companion, Robin Vincent, by her sister and many other family members.
She resided in Citrus Heights, near Sacramento, California.
Through all her adventures she worked to make her life meaningful, successful, and joyful. I believe she accomplished that and much more. When Robin came into her life, she became complete. As our God has said, the worth of the soul is great in the eyes of the Lord.
She will be interred on February 2, 2022, in the Ephraim Park Cemetery, Ephraim, Utah surrounded by her family who have gone before her. There will be a brief viewing and tribute at the Magleby Mortuary in Manti at 2:00 pm mountain time. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
