    Sharon Kaye Sorenson, peacefully departed from this earth on October 26, 2023, at the age of 82, in her beloved hometown of Centerfield. Born on July 13, 1941, in Centerfield, she was the daughter of Merrill and Avral Larsen. 
    Kaye led a life of purpose and dedication. She pursued her education with unwavering commitment, earning a distinguished degree in Mechanics from Snow College. Kaye's warm and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She possessed a remarkable talent for baking, and her bread was the best imaginable.  
    As a devoted mother, Kaye found immense joy in bringing her family together for cherished Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. These special occasions were proof of her love and devotion, as she ensured that each family member felt special and loved. Kaye's nurturing spirit extended to her 90 grandchildren/great-grandchildren, as she took great pleasure in selecting or crafting a special Christmas present for each and every one. 
    Kaye's compassionate nature knew no bounds. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering support and comfort to those in need. Her selflessness and generosity were an inspiration to all who knew her, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness and compassion. 
    Cremation services held in the Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center.
