Sandra Greenhalgh
Richfield, Utah
Our loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Sandra Dean Greenhalgh, 74, passed away August 12, 2018 at her home in Richfield due to health complications. A Valentine’s baby, she was born in 1944 in Richfield, the daughter of LaMar G and Carma Herring Perkins. She married Jay Greenhalgh. He preceded her in death March 6, 1984.
Sandra graduated from Richfield School High School and lived in many areas of the United States before returning to Richfield. She had a number of different jobs during her lifetime, but most recently she worked as a bus driver with the Head Start pre-school. She was loved by everyone.
Some of her favorite things involved the outdoors, road trips, spontaneous activities, and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She loved to go out to lunch—she was always ready for that activity. Any time The Old Time Fiddlers were performing around town she loved to go and dance.
Grandchildren were at the top of her list, with gifts already purchased months in advance. They will have one last gift from their grandma before the end of the year.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Amber) Evans, Sigurd; Billy (Angie) Spafford, Monroe; Clinton Rupp, Richfield; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Diana (Farren) Christensen, Monroe; Pam (Les) Scott, Salina; Robin (Robert) McAvoy, Elsinore.
Also preceded in death by parents; grandson, Kage Spafford.
