We are beyond devastated to announce the passing of our beloved father, Dr. Ryan Cheney, on the 23rd day of December in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty Four. In his short 51 years of life, Ryan touched the lives and hearts of so many people, beyond what we can count. 

Of all the things that Ryan has loved, nothing compares to the love he had for his family. In death, he leaves behind 8 children, Abigail, Ammon & Dallas, Jordan, Savannah & Ofa, Keegan, Cassidy, Clarissa, and Brannigan; 5 grandchildren, Kylan, Blake, Ivy, Ember and Fuatalevu, as well as all 8 of his siblings and both of his parents Lee and Joyce Cheney. 

“Through tears and trials, through fears and sorrows, through the heartache and loneliness of losing loved ones, there is assurance that life is everlasting.” (Thomas S. Monson) Today we find peace in knowing that we shall surely meet this beautiful soul again. God be with you Dad.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Manti 9th Ward Chapel. There will be a viewing prior to services at the church from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Payson Cemetery.
