Russell Max Nielsen, 48, went back to our Heavenly Father on August 17, 2013 in Richfield.  He was born August 29, 1964 in Richfield to Nile Max and Anna Marie Forsey Nielsen.

Russ graduated from Richfield High in 1982.  He married Janette Rowley, later, divorced. Married Traci Troseth, later divorced.

Russ was a loving father, son and brother. He was a very talented carpenter. He had the biggest heart and was kind to everyone.  He was a fun loving guy with the best laugh.  He loved his children more than anything.

Russ is survived by his children: Devan Nielsen, Dustin (Amy) Nielsen and Danielle (Joshua) Neuenschwander; mother, Anna (Mark) Snedeger; sisters, Teresa (Jim) Dutson, Tina (Lee) Sorenson, Tonya (Brad) Christensen, and Terianne (Tim) Morgan.

He is preceded by father; son, Dale Max Nielsen; brother-in-law, Van Reed Madsen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery.
