Russell Lee Jensen, 75, passed away March 26, 2015 in Provo. He was born July 3, 1939 in Richfield to Vance Vernal and Myrtle Coffin Jensen. He married Sandra Frei in 1960, later divorced. He married Judy Mae Birkbeck in 1970. She preceded him in death, January 6, 1984. He married Diane Bain, June 15, 1984 in Las Vegas.

Russell was a member of the National Guard. He served in Cuba during the missel crisis in the 60's. Class president during his sophomore and junior years at RHS. Played baseball and basketball. He worked for Firestone Tire and later was part-owner in Sevier Valley Tire. He spent 20 years as a district manager for Fuller-O’Brien. At the time he retired he was a part owner of Sunrise Highway Painting.

He was an artist, painting many water color scenes. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved to travel and has been in all but four of the states. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Russell had a great sense of humor. You could count on a funny joke to brighten your day. He loved his family and was very good with people.

Russell is survived by his wife, Diane; children: Robert A. (Gigi) Jensen, ND; Richard M. (Kayo) Jensen, Oahu, HI; Chérie Jensen, Salt Lake City; Ryan N. (Jennifer) Jensen, Maui, HI; step-daughter, Karen Davis, Evanston, WY; 7 grandchildren; sisters: Julia Oldroyd, Glenwood; Kathy Barney, Woods Cross; Madeline (Pete) Codellia, New Harmony; sisters-in-law, Pauline Jensen, Sarah Jensen, Halene Jensen.

Preceded in death by parents; son, Kirk Jensen; grandchildren: Shawn Lundberg, Richard Lundberg; siblings: Owen Jensen, Betty (Dale) Sylvester, Lynn Jensen, Marjorie (Sylvan) Staples, Dane Jensen; brothers-in-law, Frank Oldroyd, Blaine Barney.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with military rites by the Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
