Ruby Jane Roberts

Ruby Jane Gentry Roberts, 86, of Annabella, died February 1, 2014 in South Jordan, Utah.
Ruby was born April 11, 1927 to Milton Henry and Ivy Jane Erickson Gentry in Beaver, Utah. She attended school in Beaver and Richfield. She married Lloyd Dale Roberts March 27, 1948 in Orem and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Ruby’s family moved from Utah to Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1955 and later to Wadsworth, Illinois in 1959. She worked at Anchor Hocking until the family was transferred to Lewistown, Montana in 1976. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who attended to her family and church callings. How she loved the beauty of the Big Sky country and enjoyed playing golf. She owned a little gift shop called "Something From Afar". Her sense of humor, cheerfulness and cooking were endearing gifts. She returned to Annabella in 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Dale; daughter, Nancy (Mark) Beck; sons: John (Liliana) and James (Linda) Roberts; grandchildren: Jennifer and Benjamin Beck, Nicolas Roberts, Alexandria Hart and Kirsten, Chad and Cody Roberts; also 6 great-grandchildren; brother: Joe Gentry.

She was preceded in death by parents; brothers: William, Frank and Mack Gentry; sister, Mary Lou Roberts.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella LDS Chapel where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
