Ronald "Wayne" Sides, 51, of Circleville, Utah, passed away peacefully April 8, 2011, after a year long battle with cancer. Wayne was born July 1, 1959, to Ron and Darlene Cone Sides in Palmdale, California. He married Marnie King, March 14, 1998, in Circleville, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, September 10, 2005.
Wayne was a very loving and devoted husband and father. Wayne loved to work. He worked many jobs and had many talents. He was well known around town as "Wayne the Welder". He earned an Associates Degree in welding in 2002 at Snow College South. Wayne was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. Wayne was loved and admired by many and he will be greatly missed by all. He fought a great fight and was a true example of the meaning "never give up."
He is survived by his wife, Marnie Sides; children, Taylor Wayne Sides; Tegan Ireta May Sides; sister, Debbie (Shawn) Thompson, all of Circleville; nieces, Shawnon Sides, Silverdale, WA; Carlyon (Scott) Anthony, Murreita, CA; Josalyn Thompson, Circleville, and Timberlina Tidwell, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terry Tidwell; niece, Twila Tidwell; mother-in-law, Ireta Howes King; grandparents, Guy and Dorothy Cone; Renold and Irene Sides.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the Circleville LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Circleville on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
