Ronald Everett Hansen, 90, peacefully passed away at his home in Richfield on December 25, 2024. He was born May 10, 1934 in Richfield to Alfred Everett and Manetta Peterson Hansen. He graduated from Richfield High School and served in the Air Force. He married Betty Lou Christensen in Las Vegas on June 22, 1952. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2020 after 68 years together.
They were blessed with three daughters: Rauna, Shelly and Teri. They had 7 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandpa started out working at Commercial Tire and Pearson Tire. He spent a lot of time on the road delivering tires and making friends along they way. He worked 50 years in the tire business. Later after retirement he helped Betty run Hansen’s Beauty Salon. They enjoyed their time at their place in Washington, Utah. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he held several callings.
Along with his grandchildren, he is survived by: brother: Robert Wayne (Marsha) Hansen; sister: Iva Jean (Lynn) Kenley; son-in-law, Kenneth Kirschner.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife; and daughters: Rauna Lou (Lynn) Olcott, Shelly Dawn Kirschner, Teri Ann Anderson.
