Ronald “Diney” Brown, 91, Junction, passed away February 12, 2022, in Junction. Ronald was born July 12, 1930 in Junction to Ambrose and Christena Bay Gold Freestone Brown. He graduated from high school in1949.  Ronald was in the Korean War from 1951-1953.

Ronald married Belva Newby Brown in 1953. Eleven years after they were married, they were sealed in the St. George temple. She preceded him in death in 2018.

He was on the Junction Town board and has lived in Junction all of his life.

In his later years, Ronald loved to play cards and collect scrap metal. Dad and Mom were inseparable. They did everything together including riding four-wheelers and playing pool. Dad had a big pool table in the family room.

Dad and Mom had 65 wonderful years together and raised 7 wonderful children, whom they are survived by, including: Utahna Petty, Richfield; Dina Kay Branham, Junction; Terry Brown, Circleville; Kevin Brown, Junction; Lindon (Susie) Brown, Redmond; and Yvonne (Farrin) Ostler and Camille Gray. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife; both parents; two daughters, Connie Ranée and Jeanie Loretta; granddaughter, Jeanie Ostler; sons-in-law, Randy Brewer, Max King, Robert Petty, Michael Branham, and Marvin Gray; sister, Rayola Howes.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 12:00 Noon with military honors by the Sevier Valley American Legion Post #37.
