Bob Allen
Redmond, Utah
On the rainy morning of September 21, 2014 our loving husband, dad, son, brother and friend, Robert "Bob" Leo Allen, 64, passed peacefully away after a valiant fight with cancer at his home in Redmond.
Bob was the first born of Lee and Bernice Allen, the oldest of six. He was born on a snowy day, May 4, 1950 in Tremonton. He attended grade school in Garland and graduated from Twin Bridges High School in Twin Bridges, MT where he played football for the Falcons and enjoyed ranch life.
Bob joined the US Air Force in 1973. He was proud of the time he served and was very patriotic throughout his life.
He married Paulette Mantha and together they had three boys, whom Bob was so proud of. Bob and Paulette were later divorced but remained good friends.
On June 5, 1993, Bob married the love of his life, Pennie Carlson. For 21 years they loved and took care of each other.
Bob worked real estate with his dad and spent many years as a cattle truck driver, more recently as a truck driver for Hales Sand & Gravel, where he made many lifelong friends.
Bob loved his sweet wife. He enjoyed a good laugh, good music, good food, NASCAR on tv, Christmas, and spending time with family and friends. We love you, Bob! You will be missed! You will be in our hearts forever!
Bob is survived by his loving wife; sons: Andy (Angie) Allen, Jeff (Jennifer) Allen, Scott (Amber) Allen, Jeremiah (Shilo) Carlson, and Austin Carlson; 10 grandchildren; father, Lee Allen; brother, Lewie Allen; sisters: Lani Callister, Suzanne Pierson, and Pauline Allen; mother-in-law, Bonnie Lund; and his loyal buddy, Rico.
He was preceded in death by his mother and little brother, Andy.
