Robert Winsor Plummer "Dr. Bob" Wilson, DDS, 70, passed peacefully in his sleep October 15, 2015 at his home in Antimony. He was born May 27, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Winsor Plummer and Betty Jean Schaeffer. Later adopted by William Edward Wilson. He married Frances "Freddie" Hunter, June 16, 1966 in Odessa, Texas.
Dr. Bob lived and practiced dentistry in Antimony. Not only did he have a passion for his profession, he sincerely enjoyed helping people and delighted in the company of friends he made while practicing.
Dr. Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Freddie; and his three boys: Robert Francis Plummer (Raquel Angie) Wilson, Park City; William Otis (Bambi Rino) Wilson, Kamas; and Scott Gregory Wilson, Salmon, ID; grandchildren: Alena Jordan, Jade Amarie, River Otis; half-brother, Mark Edward Wilson, Los Angeles, CA.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was known by his family and friends to have a free spirit and a heart of gold. We will all miss you!
Cremation services have taken place.
Informal memorial services are being held in celebration of the life of Robert Wilson, DDS, on Saturday, April 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rockin’ "R" Ranch in Antimony. The services will be followed by a Dutch oven dinner and campfire to share stories and sing with the family. Tune your instruments, dust off the words to a favorite song, and come to reminisce about our best times with Dr. Bob.
