Robert James Williams

Robert James Williams, 93, passed away May 5, 2016 in Richfield, UT. He was born October 28, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Rollin Erval and Agnes Mamie Gabrick Williams. He married Cleora Kelsey, May 2, 1947 in San Francisco. She preceded him in death August 18, 1993. He married Herta Ruth Kaackstedder, February 14, 1997 in Salt Lake City. She preceded him in death April 23, 2008.
He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He worked at various occupations throughout his life but retired as a tax estimator for Salt Lake County.
He is survived by children: Roger Kelsey (Tammy) Williams, St. George, UT; Sharon (Richard) Kesler, Richfield, UT; Richard K Williams, San Jose, CA; step-son, Uve Kaackstedder, Berthoud, CO; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; brother, Richard R (Jackie) Williams, South Carolina.
He is also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Dixie Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, where friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South in Cottonwood Heights.
