Robert Leo "Bob" Weeks, 80, passed away at his home in Richfield on November 25, 2016. He was born May 3, 1936 in Queens, New York to Leo and Marie Louise Netzel Weeks. He married Judy Carrapel, they later divorced.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959 and was a scuba diver off Midway Island. He has worked in construction. He worked on North Island, San Diego as an electrician.
When Bob retired from the Navy yard in San Diego, he moved to Sevier County where he enjoyed riding ATVs, shooting with friends and camping. He loved to play computer games.
Bob was a very giving person and willing to share all he had. He was a charter member of the Richfield Bible Church where he was involved in the work of the church. He was a scholar of the Old Testament and Jewish traditions.
He is survived by his brother, Raymond L. Weeks; a son, Mark; daughter, Julie; and many extended family members and friends.
Cremation services have taken place with interment at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Military honors were provided by the Navy Honor Guard. Local memorial services will be held in the Richfield Bible Church, 780 North Hwy 118, Central Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
