Robert Riddle
Formerly of Antimony & Richfield, Utah
Robert Lynn Riddle, beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away on March 3, 2018 from Pancreatic Cancer. He was born to Gyle and Wanda McIntosh Riddle on November 20, 1959, in Richfield, Utah. He attended grade school in Antimony, and he spent his high school years at Piute High, Cedar City High, and Richfield High. Upon graduation he attended Ricks College. Afterwards, he served an LDS mission in the Denmark, Copenhagen Mission.
Robert was married in the Salt Lake Temple and subsequently blessed with three daughters and a son. He served as a lead investigator for the State of Utah, he was an award-winning referee in Oregon, and recently worked as a receiving manager for United Team Mechanical. He enjoyed camping, shooting, riding ATV’s and exploring the mountains, but his greatest joys were his children, grandchildren, and siblings.
Bob accepted people for who they are, and that was a great blessing to those he encountered throughout his life. He had a huge, kind heart and a contagious sense of humor which he maintained to the end, in spite of the many difficult challenges and personal battles he faced.
Robert is survived by his children: Chelsey, Michael (Shelby), Jamie, and Loren, as well as 4 grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Tom) Smith, Cindy (Richard) Wilkey; brothers: Kenneth (Kathy), Bruce, and Gary (Lori); brother-in-law, Jerry Savage; and many nieces and nephews who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; sister, Janene Savage.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the Antimony Ward Chapel. Friends may call prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Antimony Cemetery beside his parents. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
