Richard L. "Dick" Peterson, 79, passed away September 1, 2013 at his home in Richfield. He was born August 3, 1934 in Redmond to LaVar and Lenore Simmons Peterson. He married Darlene Patterson on December 12, 1952 in Elsinore. The marriage was solemnized in January 1963 in the Manti Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children: Beth Ann Rickenbach, Glenwood; Cay Lyn (John) Juluson, Richfield; Calvin (Vicki) Peterson, Ely; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister: Kathleen Procarani, Salt Lake City; brother: Reggie (Kim) Peterson, Salt Lake City.
Preceded in death by parents; son-in law, Clair Rickenbach.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield. Friends may call Friday at the mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
